BECOME A WAYBORNE TESTER

Help make the next
ride better.

Bring your phone, your honest feedback and your idea of a good road. App access is by invitation after review.

What testers do

  1. Plan a familiar ride. Try a destination and two stops. Check the order and route choices.
  2. Try voice and tap controls while parked. Tell us exactly what you said and what the app heard.
  3. Check a short trip. Watch for missed turns, unexpected detours or arrival at the wrong stop.
  4. Explore the community. Try a photo post, a club or a destination you know.
  5. Send useful feedback. Include your phone, what happened, what you expected and screenshots taken while stopped.

Ideas outside this list are welcome. You do not need to be a technical expert.

Android and iPhone applicants are welcome. Voice, installation and background behavior can differ by phone.

Plan and report while parked. Do not operate your phone while riding. Participation does not require buying anything from this website.

Applying from your testing phone?

By tapping Detect my phone, you allow this page to read the phone details your browser provides and fill the fields below. Review and edit them before submitting. Detection alone does not send or save an application.

During beta testing, Wayborne records approximate active time, sessions, features used, selected actions and location errors to improve the app and understand tester participation. These records are linked to your beta account and available only to the owner. This activity tracking does not record private message contents, microphone audio, typed searches or GPS coordinates.

A few things to know

Does applying give me immediate access?

No. Wayborne Staff reviews applications and sends selected testers a private invitation with access instructions.

Can I apply from a computer?

Yes. Use a computer or phone to apply. Include the phone you would use to test the app.

Can I use Wayborne in a car?

Yes. Cars and other vehicles can use it, but scenic routes may be longer and more winding than those from a typical GPS.

Is this a finished navigation product?

No. This is an early beta. Expect bugs and changing features. Use your judgment, road signs and a familiar backup navigation option when needed.
